Last week, we held a donation raffle for the Nike Kobe VI Protro "Grinch", with all proceeds + the retail income from the shoes being donated to the Baylor Youth Foundation. We are thrilled to announce that with your help, we were able to raise $27,003.00 to fund several new foundation initiatives.

These funds will be going towards new programming that provides off-the-court support in areas like life coaching, mental wellness, and networking to a dedicated fund for students who attend smaller HBCUs, BYF has pivoted to address the unique needs of 2020. Additionally, BYF is working to open a women’s home to combat homelessness caused by Covid. This new transitional housing will assist any woman in crisis or in need during this time while also offering a range of support and employment opportunities.

The Baylor Youth Foundation is a non-profit 501(c)(3) corporation providing educational and recreational programs for elementary, middle, and high school youth. The foundation fulfills this mission by assisting at-risk urban youth and those disadvantaged by poverty through participation in athletic competition, enrichment activities, and social programs outside their immediate environment. Founded in 2001, BYF's activities have made a major impact on the local communities throughout Indiana, Illinois, Milwaukee, Nashville, and St. Louis.
