In celebration of the 2019 Chicago Marathon, we teamed up with Nike on an event and installation highlighting the ZoomX Vaporfly Next%—their fastest, lightest running shoe to date. The installation featured artwork from Tokyo-based artist Freddy Carrasco, a sculptural installation revealing the Next%'s unique construction by John Peralta, and a video by Home Movie Productions featuring Nike Master Trainer and Gq Wellness columnist Joe Holder. The day before the Marathon, we invited Nike designer Chris Cook to the shop for a live conversation with Joe, who then lead the audience on a group run—after they all received pairs of the Next% to test out. |
