MAD et LEN
MAD et LEN, founded in 2007 in the French alps, traps the scents of memories into beautifully handcrafted objects and experimental fragrances. Inspired by the nature that surrounds their atelier, designers Sandra Fuzier and Alexandre Piffaut infuse their past experiences with organic shapes and materials to inform their unique perfumery and craft. Having studied the traditional art of apothecary, MAD et LEN serves as a mirror to our natural world by only using the finest seasonal ingredients worked by hand through small scale production. Cold laminated iron work creates the raw, organic enclosures, while scents of tobacco, fig, and honey awaken primal olfactory and tactile senses and remind us of the peacefulness of rawness and barely inhabited landscapes.
